Field-selectable operating modes

F — Flashing

Single on/off flash. High-visibility, lower current draw than revolving. Typically used for fault conditions.

R — Revolving

Continuous rotation — the classic beacon effect. High visibility from all angles, 360°. Standard for machine start/stop indication.

B — Blinking

Rapid on/off blink (faster than flashing). Used for urgent alerts requiring maximum attention.

S — Steady

Continuous on, no flash. Used for status indication — power on, process running, access authorised.

How does this compare to LTE-1101 / TBJ-01 / LTD-5071 series?

Our RLB series and the LTE-1101, LT-5101, LTD-5071, LT-5088, TBJ-01, and TBJ-150 are all market codes for LED revolving warning lights of similar specification. In many cases these are manufactured by the same factories with different brand labels applied. We supply the same product category under our RLB model designation.

Key considerations when substituting: verify the voltage matches (12V DC, 24V DC, 110V AC, or 220V AC — must be specified), verify the colour (red, amber, green, or blue — not field-changeable), and verify the buzzer variant (standard = no buzzer; J suffix = with 90 dB buzzer). If you have an existing unit you are replacing, share the label photo and we will confirm the correct equivalent.

What colours are available?

Red, Amber/Yellow, Green, and Blue. Specify at order. The most common combination is Red (fault/alarm) or Amber (caution/warning). Green is used for running/OK status. Blue for operator call in Andon systems.

What voltage does it require?

Available in 12V DC, 24V DC, 110V AC, and 220V AC. Specify at order — the voltage is fixed at manufacture. The most common for PLC-driven applications is 24V DC. For direct mains connection, order 220V AC.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?

IP65 — dust tight and protected against water jets. Suitable for outdoor installation, covered yards, and washdown areas. Not suitable for direct rain exposure without a protective canopy.

Can I order mixed colours for multiple machines?

Yes. Mixed-colour orders can be placed — specify quantity per colour. Minimum order per colour is 1 unit. We can supply labelled and tagged if required.
